At Little Trekkers, we believe in raising children who love, respect, and care for the outdoors. And what better way to inspire that than by getting stuck in and making a real impact together?

What is the Big Clean?

The Big Clean is a simple but meaningful way for families to get outside and give back. We’re inviting you and your little explorers to roll up your sleeves and take part, wherever you are.

It doesn’t have to be a big event. Whether it’s:

• Your local park
• A woodland walk
• The beach
• Or even your street

Every small action helps.

Picking up litter not only protects wildlife and preserves natural spaces, but it also teaches children the importance of responsibility and care for the world around them.

Why it matters

When children connect with nature, they’re more likely to protect it. The Big Clean is about more than tidying up, it’s about building habits, creating awareness, and nurturing a lifelong love for the outdoors.

Plus, it’s a great excuse to spend quality time together as a family, exploring, learning, and making a difference.
