Top tips when buying a Child Carrier:

For back carrying child carriers, it is always recommended that the child can sit up by themselves, a front carrier would be better prior to this.

On average, backpack child carriers can accommodate up to 22kg in weight, but check your preferred option first if this is a deal breaker for you. Most carriers come with some accessories included, like a sun hood, or foot stirrups. But it is a good idea to check what yours comes with when considering a purchase, rain covers are often an added extra for example.

Test drive your favourite before you buy where possible. It is often personal preference when it comes to fit, so a trip to your local outdoor shop might be a good idea before committing to buying one.
