Ben from London on a hillwalking trip to Switzerland

We're a non-motorised vehicle household so we spend a lot of time out in all weathers...on our bikes, pounding the pavements or standing at bus stops! We also like braving the elements in our spare time, cross country skiing and hillwalking.

After the birth of our first child, in 2002, we discovered that it was pretty difficult to find good quality outdoor clothing for kids. I somehow happened upon was just what I was looking for.

My first buy was a Wynnester SnuggleSuit and a Regatta waterproof for our first hillwalking trip to Switzerland with our son Ben. The trip and the clothing were a great success. The SnuggleSuit in particular is has been well worn and as you can see from one of the other pictures it is now being used by our daugher, Anna (born July 2005).

I have bought a second SnuggleSuit in a bigger size for her to use this winter!

Continuing the no car theme, we found that there was no such thing as a "travel cot"...there were things that would go in the boot of a car. I then found the LittleLife Twin Arc travel cot on littletrekkers... fantastic... something we could actually carry with us.
