We went walking/sledge pulled! up on the moors to the trig point. We had great fun roly polying down the hill!
Little Amelia climbs Old Man of Storr. A fantastic view for relatively little effort, whether one walks up with or without an 8-month old on the back!
Mabel enjoys her swimming, although I'm not so sure the same can be said for her Daddy! We can't keep Mabel and her brother Reuben still!
I'm Thomas (aged 2) and I had great fun playing in the rockpools with my Daddy. We found lots of cool crabs and flat fish. Here's one I found!
Camping in the woods in Devon and cooking marshmallows on the camp fire!

Wearing a Littlelife backpack didn't stop my daughter from racing around and having lots of fun exploring when we visited Berry Pomeroy Castle in Devon earlier this year.
Ten-month-old Wincenty in Cluny House Gardens had real fun being able to see, touch and sniff all the flowers that are normally at the grown-up's eye-level. All thanks to his favourite child carrier :) And it's a great way to show him the world around.

Hi my name is Alex and I am nearly 3 years old. My very favourite thing to do is catch the train to Greenwich with my Mummy and go exploring. We get to see lots of boats by the river and play in the big park.
Toby loves exploring and seeing new things. Today he set out for a little adventure at Hoveton Hall Gardens in Norfolk. It was lovely watching him toddle along the woodland paths, stopping every now and then to examine some new creature or plant. For him the world is an exciting place, full of wonders at every turn.
Isabel 5, Oliver 22 months and Henry 4 months think the greatest adventure is just 100 yards from our house. We only have a yard so the beach is their back garden, luckily we can see it from our house. Whether it is finding hidden treasure, splashing in the North Sea waves or racing around chasing each other; the beach always brings a smile to everyone's faces.
During the half term holiday Joe and Jack went to Chatel in France in our motorhome Mabel. They both love skiing. Joe likes to ski steep red and black runs all day long. Jack prefers gentle green and blue runs with regular stops for delicious mugs of hot chocolate and cream !!!
The Harding's took their motorhome (Mabel) to Croatia. On the way back they stopped in Venice for a few days. This picture is taken from the campsite near Fusina. The campsite just happened to be next to a major shipping lane. Joe and Jack were very excitied by the constant stream of very large ships that sailed past the campsite!

We're a non-motorised vehicle household so we spend a lot of time out in all weathers...on our bikes, pounding the pavements or standing at bus stops! We also like braving the elements in our spare time, cross country skiing and hillwalking.
I live in South Africa, and have 2 boys (currently 2.5 and 4.5 years old). My husband and I did a lot of hiking and trekking before our children were born, and were eager to introduce them at an early age to the joys of the outdoors.
