Making Sand Boats – Were we the first in the world to do this?

We can’t go to the beach without Squid and me making a sand boat.

The best ones are when we know the sea is coming in and how long it will take by checking Dad’s little blue book of tides.

We then dig a channel right up to the front of our boat and around the sides. Squid likes it when the sea comes in.
