Last summer, I was contemplating taking the boys and Little Sister into London for the day to visit the Natural History Museum. I was sure they’d enjoy the dinosaur exhibition and the Volcanoes and Earthquakes gallery. Once I realised how much of the day would be spent on the bus, train, and underground, I began to question whether this was such a great idea after all.

Even though we live in a city, us Teagues aren’t very good city slickers – we tend to try and escape to the country every chance we get. Hence, we’ve never visited Northern Ireland’s second city, which goes by the name Londonderry, Derry or the politically neutral (is that possible?), Stroke City.

We are definitely country bumpkins at heart and whilst we do occasionally venture into the city we never feel really very at home. We were very overdue a visit down to London to see the dinosaurs, sorry I mean visit my little brother, so we decided to venture outside our comfort zone and head to the big smoke.
