As we head for the final countdown until the new wild brown trout season starts - in just 16 days - it's about time to relive the final day of the last season! How could we forgot to document here on Little Trekkers!

It's March and of course that means we have to share our obligatory start of season fishing adventure! This year the first day was a weekday - and not great weather - so only the most hardy in the family ventured out. But the fist weekend of the season was just nice enough to lure me out too for a full family-fishing adventure.
We have documented Corwin's fly fishing progress very well here on this blog over the last year or so. So of course you will hear all about the latest step - wading! Which really is extreme puddle jumping and thus every 5 year olds absolute dream.
Another brilliant place we visited this summer was Trebah Garden. We’d never been before, but Granny and Grandad have been several times over the years and had repeatedly said how hard it was to decide whether they preferred Trebah Garden or Glendurgan Garden. We thought it was time to see Trebah Garden for ourselves.
The angling season is now more than 2 months old, although you would not think so as the weather in May is not dissimilar to how it felt back in March! Corwin's interest in angling was strong on the first day of the season, as you may remember, and fortunately, and much to daddy's delight, he is still keen. .
Reading about our Montenegro adventures you will probably ask yourselves - what, NO fishing? Naturally there was! No holiday’s complete without at least some angling adventure, so of course we had reserved a full day for some fly-fishing
We are still on our 'First' time adventures theme, and might be for a while, as we have not yet run out on options. Added to the mix this time a friend whom you have met in other blog posts, our Chinese friend Qun.
