Sunshine Again in the Lakes

Well another amazing day in the Lakes. I can’t believe the weather we are having and the kids are off school. Today we went with some friends to the river. When we got there a big stone throwing competition was soon on the go.

Sunshine Again in the Lakes

The name of the game was to make the biggest splash possible and all the kids were going for it! At one point I think Mira thought she had to fetch the stones back...

But all I can say is long may this weather last we love it!

I used to play this game - it always seemed to end up with us going in to the water to find more stones to throw (after using the best ones from where we were stood) and ending up wet through!
