Chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken, lay a little egg for me!

How to Make an Easter Gift Box

You'll be in for a surprise when you open this egg box and see these wide eyed chicks staring at you.

What you will need

equipment
  • Egg box
  • Coloured card
  • Paints
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Foam shapes or sequin decorations
  • Shredded paper or straw

How you do it

  1. Before you start, sit and think of your design so that you can choose your colours and decorations. I have chosen a garden theme for my gift box.

  2. stencil

Paint the outside of your egg box. I have chosen green on this occasion to make it look like grass. Leave the egg box to dry.

    paint the box
  3. Now its fun time! Decorate the lid of your egg box however you like. I've cut out some grass from green card, added a silver Easter egg and decorated the scene with sequin flowers and butterflies.
