Kylie’s Kreatures Go To Whitby

After a very cold winter and spurred on by some glorious Easter sunshine, Kylie’s Kreatures took a well earned break from busy Little Trekkers’ HQ to spend some time by the seaside at Whitby. Even a touch of sea fret didn’t dampen their spirits.

Despite their diminutive size and tiny legs they managed to climb the 199 steps up to St Mary’s parish church to see the remains of Whitby Abbey. Sadly they didn’t catch a glimpse of Dracula, maybe the sea fret hide him away from view.

Later on they tried their hand at crabbing. They managed to find a prime spot on the harbour to drop their crab line into the sea.

It’s a little difficult to hold onto a crab line that’s bigger than you are, but the delicious mixture of bacon, cooked turkey and squid as bait was too much of a temptation for the crabs.

Exhausted after their adventures and with lungs full of sea air, they were all richly rewarded with some delicious fish and chips from the famous Magpie Café.
