Kylie's Kreatures Fly to Munich
Kylie’s Kreatures made their first international trip earlier this month when they visited Munich on important Little Trekkers’ business. Although they were slightly apprehensive at the thought of getting on a plane, their first flight nerves were soon forgotten when the cabin crew offered them some complimentary peanuts and a window seat.
Once they arrived, they made their way to a massive trade show with the mission of finding new awesome gear for all you Little Trekkers out there.
At first it seemed rather daunting to our little fabric friends, where to start? After a few minutes sat down with a bottle of water and the planner guide they agreed their course of action for the day. Walking boots, waterproofs, camping gear…oooh, choices, choices, choices. …although no lederhosen (not that would fit something with an inside leg measurement of 10 cm anyway)!
With their little arms laden down with carrier bags, brochures and other goodies they left the show to go and see the sights of Munich.
The good people of Munich were very welcoming to them. They met a rather striking golden gentleman near the Marienplatz in the town centre. He didn’t move much, but even in this statue-like state he couldn’t resist to raise a smile as one of the kreatures came to say hello.
At the end of their busy day they found a little restaurant where they tucked into some local delicacies; weißwürste (white sausage), pretzels and apple strudel all washed down with a fine Bavarian beer.
Then it was back to Little Trekkers HQ, but they vowed to return to Munich one day, maybe for the Oktoberfest!!!
