One sunny day, there was lots of noise outside the Little Trekkers HQ. An impressive commotion which in truth sounded like the sheep in the field next door had begun their own outdoor festival and were having a sing-along with a hundred of their mates.
Apart from a bucket and spade there aren’t really any other toys you need as a kid playing on the beach. Everything else is already there for you. Driftwood, shells, seaweed, bits of old rope and netting. Once you’ve collected a few treasures there’s all sorts of games you can play down on the beach.
A sunflower house is a great way to get your children out and about in the garden.
Festivals in the UK have taken on a new lease of life in recent years and definitely provide a good reason for enjoying a “staycation”.
